The Transfer Engagement Center (TEC) is closed over the summer.
We will reopen on Wednesdays, September 7th, 2022.
The Transfer Engagement Center also known as the TEC (pronounced: “tek”) is a dedicated space to transfer students at UW-Madison. If you have a question or need help but don’t know where to go, we’re the place for you. Stop in and we will help you get wherever you need to go or come and meet other transfers, study, or take a moment to rest.

GUTS Drop-In Tutoring in the TEC
GUTS offers free tutoring and mentoring to hundreds of students for specific classes, conversational language practice, and general studying tips and techniques. GUTS Drop-In tutoring is now at the TEC. Find dates and times for each subject in the drop-down panel on the right.

Monthly Lunch Series
TTP hosts a monthly lunch for specific student groups that largely make up the transfer student population on campus. Currently, we host Returning Adult student lunches & BIPOC Transfer student lunches. Lunches are always at the TEC on a Wednesday from 11:30am-1pm.

If you can’t find the TEC printer when printing, it may need to be “mapped.”
Libraries
