Transfer Engagement Center

The Transfer Engagement Center also known as the TEC (pronounced: “tek”) is a dedicated space to transfer students at UW-Madison. If you have a question or need help but don’t know where to go, we’re the place for you. Stop in and we will help you get wherever you need to go or come and meet other transfers, study, or take a moment to rest.

Highlighted Resources:

  • Always have coffee, tea, snacks, and GoPrint Stations
  • Daily drop-in tutoring by Greater University Tutoring Services (GUTS)
  • Monthly lunches for specific communities such as Returning Adult Students
  • Home to many events and our BadgerCETE Leadership Program

GUTS Drop-In Tutoring in the TEC

GUTS offers free tutoring and mentoring to hundreds of students for specific classes, conversational language practice, and general studying tips and techniques. GUTS Drop-In tutoring is now at the TEC. Find dates and times for each subject in the drop-down panel on the right.

FREE printing at TEC

If you can’t find the TEC printer when printing, it may need to be “mapped.”
