The Transfer Engagement Center also known as the TEC (pronounced: “tek”) is a dedicated space to transfer students at UW-Madison. If you have a question or need help but don’t know where to go, we’re the place for you. Stop in and we will help you get wherever you need to go or come and meet other transfers, study, or take a moment to rest.

Transfer Events
Wisconsin Welcome is a campus-wide celebration of new and continuing students beginning a new academic year. You will be able to take your pick of events during August and September, 2022. TTP hosts many Wisconsin Welcome events that are designed specifically for transfer students by transfer students. Guests are always welcome regardless of transfer or student status.

GUTS Drop-In Tutoring in the TEC
GUTS offers free tutoring and mentoring to hundreds of students for specific classes, conversational language practice, and general studying tips and techniques. GUTS Drop-In tutoring is now at the TEC. Find dates and times for each subject in the drop-down panel on the right.
